eBay Amazing hand-crafted dollhouse made by my grandparents in 1985 from a kit entitled "the Old Village Shop Econ-Kit" by Walmer Dollhouses. Three beautiful floors all completely wired for electricity featuring 13 lighting fixtures, 2 plug-in lamps and 11 functioning electrical plugs. The front wall swings open to expose the amazing bakery below, with little baking nook in the back corner, then take the exterior staircase up to the family kitchen and living room on the second floor, bedroom and bathroom on the third floor, connected by an interior staircase. The bakery has pink and white tiles, two clear display cases and a sweet little table and chairs for customers. The front window displays cakes and pastries. The baking nook has an exterior entrance and features a stove, sink and cabinets. They are not pictured well here since I couldn't get the camera in there! The second floor features a couch and chair in the living room, sink, refrigerator and stove in the kitchen and a cabinet and dining table in the same room. Wood floors and wallpaper make this cozy! The third floor features a spacious bedroom with a sweet little bath. Note the ceramic Shirley Temple doll on the bed! My grandmother cross-stitched the blanket on the bed. So many tiny little stitches!This listing comes with everything you see here and a few extras, not pictured. There are bakery goodies for holiday decoration including: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter. There is also a piece of plexiglass that can cover the front if you want to keep dust out of the interior or to keep people from playing with it! This fits perfectly in the opening and you can have the front wall open or closed with it in place. The front latches with a little hook. Also comes with 9 process photos that show the dollhouse being built as well as the original instructions. There is some handwriting on the kit instructions and one of the corners of the paper is cut off. The bakery measures 36" inches high at the peak of the roof, 21" deep on the side, measured at the roof, 17" across in the front, not including the exterior stairs. The front doorstep and side grassy patch just set in place and easily detach and the brick sidewalk is also not attached. Details of conditions / flaws: the floor is a little uneven in the second floor kitchen / dining room. It could probably be repaired, as it is a separate layer overtop the heavy wood frame, but I couldn't get it to stay down with glue and some weight. The wallpaper is also a little wobbly in that room. Furniture usually covers this up but I want to disclose everything. The cabinet in this front room is missing the glass but it isn't too obvious. The two exterior lights are a little crooked. Many of the interior lights are stuck on with Sticky Max or poster tack putty so are a little temporary. I think my grandma did this in case she needed to change a lightbulb? Not sure. On the exterior roofline, a piece of white trim is missing. It could either be replaced with something similar or you could take off the other piece on that side and it wouldn't be noticeable. Some paint might also help here. See last photos for details.
