From the Fran Merrill collection, this Museum Quality Tynietoy Nantucket Cottage Dollhouse was created from the original 1926 blueprints and directions from Tynietoy. This IS NOT A TOY, but an artisans collectable for serious collectors who would value a significant and complete addition to their miniature collection. The house and contents are In excellent condition and currently have a market value of $12,000 and an original value of $9,000. A total and complete dollhouse made of wood, furnished with original Tynietoy furnishings, artisan made accessories and dolls. It includes a book of provenance, providing the background details of contents purchases, artisan details and the ideas behind its creation, as well as two (2) bound collectors photo albums. The cottage has two stories with five rooms decorated in a cottage style and a scale of 1:12.This handmade dollhouse is a one-of-a-kind piece, featuring antique and vintage characteristics such as its gray color and style from the early 1900s. The set includes everything you see in the pictures, and measures 46 inches in length, 34 inches in height, and 23 inches in width.
