The color is vibrant and the styling and carving is fantastic. Everything is in perfect, never displayed condition. This Retired Design features a hidden desk. The elegant details include three finials and scrolled bonnet, sliding tambour door revealing tiny storage compartments, working drawers, glass door inserts and gold plated hardware. Perfect piece to display your fine china and sterling. Sobol pieces are highly sought after and rarely come to the secondary market. A new similar edition sells for over $3,000 and do not have the built-in round felt lined ink holders. As always, Ferd was an exceptional craftsman and this cabinet is nothing less than exceptional.
