Artisan Miniature Dollhouse IGMA Ferd Sobol RARE 2008 Federal Style 4 Poster BedWhat a wonderful and rare Federal Style Four Poster bed by the late, Ferd Sobol. The color is vibrant and the styling and carving is simple but classic. Everything is in perfect, never displayed condition. As a matter of fact it was not removed from the box until today when I photographed, inside was the original receipt, a letter from the late Ferd and information on other pieces that would match as well as care instructions. Ferd built the most wonderful little boxes to ship his larger pieces that was sure to guarantee a perfect delivery. As always, Ferd was an exceptional craftsman and this chair is nothing less than exceptional. Hand carved and just a beautiful, unusual piece. *This listing includes 4 Poster Bed, as described only. Any other prop items shown are not included, but are displayed for scale.*This miniature came from a wonderful lifetime, STUNNING miniature collection, all collected by Mesha and Clifford of New York. This amazing collection of treasured pieces will take some time to list, but they are worth the wait. The 1980s through the 1990s were one of the most interesting time periods in the miniature market, so many artists making their debut...this collection was curated during this time by going to shows, writing the artists and boarding planes to retrieve their long awaited treasures.
