Note how he chose to have the angle of the string inlay laid in opposing directions, changing both from side to side and up and down to increase the symmetry of the piece, and guide the viewer's dancing eye along the edges. The Hepplewhite Secretary features Ferd's amazing string inlay on the legs, Gothic arched windows and petite um finials as a fitting crowning design element.Ferd Sobol is an IGMA fellow who has been creating some of the world's most beautiful miniature furniture since 1981.He is known internationally as The Workshop Wizard.
